Oyo TESCOM Recruitment: Applicants' Upload of Credentials — Recruitment Portal Updates — Upload Exercise Postponed

It would be recalled that on Thursday, July 9, 2020, the Oyo State Post Primary Schools Teaching Service Commission, TESCOM, had directed all existing applicants who obtained and submitted application forms in the ongoing TESCOM recruitment exercise to visit jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng and upload details of their credentials and personal data between Monday, July 13 and Saturday, July 18, 2020.

As the five days specified for the uploading of credentials for applicants into Oyo TESCOM, enters the second day, thousands of applicants are afraid as they are unable to access the designated portal for the upload and personal data update exercise.

The Information Officer of the Commission, Mr Raji Kolawole, in an interactive session with the Broadcasting Corporation of Oyo State, BCOS, stated that the Commission is working diligently to ensure that applicants have access to the portal and be able to upload their documents as soon as possible.

It was also reported in a publication today that the Commission has announced the postponement of the commencement of the uploading exercise. The exercise is likely going to commence on Thursday 16th July 2020. Read the statement below.

"Our technical crew is presently working on it at the back end while, the state portal jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng remains valid and the new date for this exercise will subsequently be shifted to Thursday 16th July, till Wednesday 22nd July 2020."

When asked about one of the Examination timetable flying on Social Media by the BCOS, Mr Raji explained that the timetable is for Non-Teaching Staff of the Commission that are yet to be fully absorbed.

On Friday, July 10, 2020, the Commission, through its Information Officer, added another website address to be used for the credentials’ upload. The second website address is: http://www.tescom.oy.gov.ng. It was also noticed that the initial website announced, http://jobportal.oyostate.gov.ng, now redirects to http://www.tescom.oy.gov.ng

So, let's keep our fingers crossed and wait till the Commission says, "It's a go!"
